Across the planet COVID-19 has caused school closures and administrators, teachers, and parents are concerned about keeping student’s skills up and continuing their learning. Many parents are now (or may soon be) facing the challenge of teaching their children at home.
In this episode David and I sat down with Willie Wimbrey, an elementary school principal in Mansfield, TX and Karla Gurley, an American educator currently teaching and quarantined in China. Karla shared her experience continuing to educate her students from home and helping parents teach while quarantined, and they both shared tips for at-home learning and keeping students engaged while schools are closed.
